Upcoming Events - Parents Night

Recent Events - Moonlight Cinema
Thanks to all who joined us for our first Moonlight Movies screening night at Bernie Mullane Sports Complex. I am sure it is something that benefits the community so we will look to organise more in the near future.
A special thanks to everyone who donated money to Wakisa Uganda on the night as the money raised will be of great assistance to the charity. If you missed it on the night here is the promo video to fill you in on the great work Wakisa does...

About Us
The Journey is a young and small church focused on making disciples of Jesus Christ.
We want to show the world what it looks like when a community of people lives under the grace and rule of Jesus Christ.
While developing community and mission are important for us, our key concern is formation helping Christ’s followers to become more like him. When our lives are being transformed towards Christ-likeness, God will bring others into his kingdom through us.
We value:
- The authority of God’s word
- The mission-heart of God in extending unconditional love, grace and mercy towards us
- The gospel of God concerning the incarnation, life, death and resurrection of his Son Jesus Christ
- The ministry of the Holy Spirit, enabling us to become more Christ-like
- Christ’s Church as a visible expression of God’s invisible kingdom
- The mission of God in Christ and his disciples to transform the world
- The eternal kind of life modeled by Jesus Christ
- Our calling to bring the Kingdom of God to those with whom God has strategically placed us in relationship.
Wakisa Uganda Ministry
Please visit the Wakisa Ministry Uganda website. The Journey Inc supports the Wakisa Project in Uganda, as it is an amazing ministry for a very important cause. So far The Journey Inc has organised fundraising events (Carols, Performance Concerts and Trivia Nights) with proceeds going to Wakisa. Recently a group from The Journey travelled to Wakisa to help with the construction of a multi-purpose hall which will allow Wakisa to care for more young Ugandan women. More information will be posted soon as well as videos from the trip.
